Freeland Schools is excited to highlight FHS English Teacher, Ms. Kyla Krygier. This is her tenth year at Freeland High School. She finds the most rewarding part of working with students is the relationships she builds and has been able to keep throughout the years. She stated, "Academics are important, applying to college/work experience is important, GPA matters, SAT's matter, but none of this matters if I don't really know the students I am working with." Kyla is really proud of FCSD because we are a community that cares about one another. You see this support at games, tournaments, social events, etc. as people get together to rally around a common cause/goal. This unity and pride sets Freeland apart from other districts.
