We would like to recognize our FMS November Students of the Month. The staff is choosing 4 8th graders and 4 7th graders each month that display the S.O.A.R. expectations in our building. Each Student of the Month will receive 5 S.O.A.R. tickets for upcoming drawings along with Saginaw Spirit tickets sponsored by Century 21 Signature Realty - Andrew Hauck. The Optimist Club of Saginaw held their Youth Appreciation Luncheon. Congrats to Camden McLeod (FHS), Lily Winslow (FHS), Sarah Diffin (FMS) & Bryce Collier (FMS) who were honored at this event due to their positive involvement in school and in the community. #GoFalcons

Today our trivia was all about kindness to celebrate World Kindness Day. This group kicked it out of the park, probably because they are so kind on a daily basis! Their victory earned them SOAR slips and this shout out on social media. #GoFalcons

Tonight FMS Student Leadership hosted our 1st Annual Trivia Night with all proceeds going towards our culture building initiatives. Congratulations to the Smartinis/Brainiacs for their victory over 10 total rounds of trivia. We had a great time and appreciate everyone who came out to support our students! #GoFalcons

We had a new team of winners at trivia yesterday where the topic was board games. They earned SOAR slips and this shout out on social media. #GoFalcons

FMS Student Leadership attended the Middle Level Liftoff today at the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth. They learned many universal skills that will carry them through life and will also make them more effective leaders through group activities, games, and dancing. The bonus was the great chicken dinner they had for lunch! #GoFalcons

It is not too late to join us for the 1st Annual FMS Trivia Night! We are currently at 11 teams and are willing to take walk-ins the night of the event. Trivia starts promptly at 5 pm so, if you plan on participating, please show up early. Doors to the cafeteria open at 4:15 pm. It promises to be a fun evening!

Mr. Wildey's classes had some Halloween fun this past week. Both the Math Support and Science classes solved a Halloween Mystery using skills taught in class and his 7th grade math class completed a Halloween themed escape room that involved operations with integers. #GoFalcons

It was the final spirit day for our Halloween Spirit week and we had many students still getting into the fun for Twin Day. Congrats to Mrs. Freel's homeroom for winning the week long Spirit Competition!

Another dress up day at FMS had a seeing orange and black for Halloween. The kids are ready for a fun night of trick or treating! #GoFalcons

Mrs. Gott's 8th grade PE class got into the Halloween mood by playing the 'Ghostbuster Slimer' ball game today in class. It has been a fun week in the middle school! #GoFalcons

7th graders in Mr. Kade's class used Jenga™ blocks to help model how to make predictions about how particular volcanoes might behave. #GoFalcons

Lots of fun today celebrating Halloween at FMS. We had our costume day today so that we could be ready for our Halloween Dance after school. Lunch time we judged for Most Creative, Scariest and Best Costume Awards. #GoFalcons
