Last night, Freeland Middle School Esports faced off against Warren Woods Middle School’s Green Team. We finished the match 1-3, bringing our playoff run to a close.
We’re proud to share that our team finished 11th out of 73 middle school teams across Michigan this spring season—a tremendous accomplishment!
More importantly, our students showed incredible growth, teamwork, and dedication throughout the season. Their improvement has been exciting to watch, and it’s clear the future is bright for both our players and this program.
Thank you to everyone who supported FMS Esports this season—we’re just getting started!

Freeland Youth Football is sponsoring QBs vs. Cancer with Alma College quarterback Tyler Herzog. This camp is open to athletes in 3rd–12th grade who are current or aspiring quarterbacks.

While our 8th graders were hard at work taking the PSAT, our 7th graders took their learning on the road!
They enjoyed a great field trip to the SportsZone, rotating through fun and engaging stations—including a Junior Achievement session focused on financial literacy. It was a fantastic opportunity to build real-world skills while staying active and having fun. Thank you to Talia Brown and her team at the SportsZone for making it such a successful day!
