🌟 End-of-the-Year SOAR Celebration! 🌟
What a wonderful way to wrap up an incredible school year! Today, we gathered for our final SOAR Assemblies (one for each grade) to celebrate the many accomplishments, acts of kindness, leadership moments, and positive choices that made this year so special.
Throughout the year, our students truly embodied what it means to SOAR, demonstrating respect, responsibility, perseverance, and a commitment to making our school community stronger. Today's celebration recognized the countless ways our students have contributed to a positive and supportive learning environment, while also reflecting on all of the memories and successes from the 2025-26 school year.
Following each assembly, students enjoyed our annual Ice Cream Social—a sweet way to celebrate a fantastic year with friends and classmates!
Thank you to our students, staff, and families for making this a year full of growth, achievement, and memorable moments. We are proud of all that was accomplished and look forward to seeing our students continue to SOAR in the years ahead.

Last Friday, our students had the opportunity to experience The Magic of Hope with Anthony Grupido — an engaging assembly that combined incredible entertainment with powerful messages about resilience, mental health, hope, and supporting one another. Our 8th grade science classes had an amazing opportunity to experience the Delta College STEM Bus over the past few days. Students explored hands-on learning through Snap Circuit kits, building a variety of electrical projects right in the classroom.
On the STEM Bus, students got to experience:
✨ Virtual Reality
✨ VR Welding
✨ 3D Pens & 3D Printing
✨ AI Sticker Creation
✨ And so much more!
A huge thank you to Delta College for bringing these exciting science and technology experiences to FMS. The students had a blast while learning in creative and innovative ways! 😀🔬

Our final 7th & 8th Grade Band Concert of the 2025-26 school year was an incredible showcase of talent, growth, and dedication. The students truly shined, and it was a joy to see their hard work pay off on stage.
