Reminder ~ Leading up to the Homecoming parade and football game next Friday, the Learning Center will be participating in Spirit Week. Students are encouraged to participate in the following dress-related themes next week, but they certainly do not have to.
Monday – Neon Day (bright colors)
Tuesday – Pajama Day
Wednesday – Mismatch Day
Thursday – Hat Day
Friday – Falcon Pride Day (green and white colors)
The students at the Freeland Learning Center raised $307 today with our Hats On for Cancer event! Thanks to everyone that was able to participate.

Parents ~ Just a reminder that tomorrow is our Hats On for Cancer Day. Students may wear a hat to school for $1, with all of the proceeds going towards the Clash for a Cure Fund.
If you are interested in Clash for a Cure t-shirt for your student, we have several youth sizes available (26 small, 16 medium, 15 large). They are $10 each and can be purchased in the Learning Center office.

1st grade students enjoyed building in Mrs. Koehler's STEM class today.
STEM challenge today with Team Huckeby. After reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, the students made their own coconut trees and then attempted to get all the letters in the coconut tree without it falling.
Our 1st grade boys had the opportunity to hear all about Cub Scouts today! If you're interested in signing up your K-5th grade boy, you'll want to attend the "Join Scouting Night" event on September 19th at 6:00 p.m. at Freeland Elementary School.
