This crew won our first FMS lunch trivia event of the 2024-25 school year. The theme was 'Back to School' and we had many teams make it a close one right until the last question. The girls earned SOAR slips for our first drawing that will be held at the Homecoming Pep Assembly at the beginning of October. We have some businesses that we will be shouting out over the next few weeks to thank them for helping us with all of the great prizes we have this year. We appreciate the continued support of our PBIS program here at FMS! #GoFalcons

We have been getting in a routine this week at FMS which means we are back to our lunch fun! Congratulations to Mrs. Gotts, FMS 8th Grade PE and Health Teacher, who is a recipient of a grant through GENYOUth and will receive a NFL Flag-In-School Kit with curriculum for our FMS PE classes. We know our students will put this equipment to good use! #GoFalcons

We had our last lunch in the middle school today and we celebrated by having our last SOAR Drawing of the year. Congrats to our winners and to all of our students on a fabulous year! We are looking forward to more fun during the 2024-25 School Year! #GoFalcons

Our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students spent the day checking out the site of the Memorial Cup where they heard a motivational speaker, enjoyed the fan zone and just had fun with their classmates! Thanks to the staff members who chaperoned and made this event possible! #GoFalcons

This week we would like to spotlight our FMS 7th Grade Math Teacher, Carrie DeShone. Mrs. DeShone has spent all 22 years of her career with FCSD and we are so thankful for her dedication to our students! #GoFalcons

Ms. Heckman's 8th Grade science classes were able to experience the Stem Explorer program through Delta College. Thursday was in-class activities with circuits and Friday was exploring STEM activities on the Stem Bus. #GoFalcons

Our FMS Bands put on a great spring concert tonight. It was great to see the growth from the first concert of the year to this evening. Thank you to Mr. Shaw for guiding our musicians. #GoFalcons

Today was Transition Day at FMS. 6th Grade Students from FES visited their future school and teachers while 7th grade students met the 8th grade teachers and 8th grade visited the high school. Lots of info mixed in with some fun! #GoFalcons
