Last Friday, 10 students from FHS volunteered to help as mentors in Mrs. Koehler's STEM class at the elementary school. Our high school students are looking forward to mentoring again once every month. Pictured here is Madison Murray with her elementary partners.

As part of their rhetoric unit, students in Mrs. Howson's English 9 Honors class recently learned Aristotle’s Three Appeals, and they used their knowledge of ethos, pathos and logos to build and sell a gingerbread house that they created.

FHS is proud to highlight Mrs. Worth this week!

FHS students pictured here with their teacher, Mrs. Richardson, are our LINKS students, and they attended a Leadership Day at the Millet Center to learn with students from Birch Run and St. Charles. Topics discussed were looking at different viewpoints, person first language, and making friendships with people of all abilities. We are so grateful for our students who serve as a LINK to their peers and appreciate the extra support they provide to students within our building.

Great work to all of our seniors who participated in College Application Week! Students worked together with our College and Career Advisor and Guidance Counselors to prepare for life after high school and their post secondary plans.
