FHS is excited to highlight our Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Kristin Aimar. She has taught in Freeland for 2 years, and has been teaching for 16 years. When asked what she enjoys most about teaching, she feels that getting to know her students is so rewarding. She likes to see how much growth they make from the start to the end of the year. Her favorite memories are made being present at community events such as the homecoming parade, athletic events, concerts, and plays. Outside of school, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family, and staying on top of all the athletic events her children participate in. She likes spending her free time watching their involvement here in our community. Thank you Mrs. Aimar, for being such an amazing educator in our district!

FHS Student Council hosted Walk A Mile in Her Shoes on Friday, May 9th to raise awareness for sexual assault and gender violence prevention. Before the walk, we held some fun competitions for our participants, and you will see the winners pictured here. Overall, we had 300 students and staff join in and we raised over $500 for the Underground Railroad of Saginaw. Great job to all of our participants!
