Mrs. Henning's 5th grade science students designed and built water filtration devices today to investigate how different materials such as rocks, pebbles, sand, sponges, and cotton balls could work to clean water. The challenge also required that students redesign and rebuild their devices to strive for water filtering improvements. Many students claimed their filtered water was clean enough to drink!
