4th graders in Mrs. Crook's class recently finished five sessions of Junior Achievement. Thank you Stacy Schram for introducing them to entrepreneurship, regions, resources, supply chains, and problem solving. This program was a great way to provide them with practical approaches to starting a business while preparing them to be entrepreneurial in their thinking to meet the requirements of a demanding and ever-changing workforce.

Mrs. Trainor’s class was fortunate to have Mrs. Wilder read them The Christmas Ship which was written by Carol Crane, a Michigan author.  This enhances their study of Michigan, as it is a story  about a shipwreck during a trip from the Upper Peninsula to Chicago while delivering Christmas trees.

Students in Mr. Harrison’s 6th grade classes made commercials showing off his students’ creativity. The students were given the task to create a fictional product that can accurately add and subtract decimals.
