The Freeland Varsity Pompon team competed at the MidAmerican Pompon Class B Regional Competition last weekend, completing an energetic, colorful routine and qualifying for States along with 3 other teams. Good luck Falcons.
Thursday and Friday are half days for FMS/FHS. Dismissal time is 11:15 for 7th - 12th grade students.
Varsity Cheer scheduled for today, 1-16-19, is still going on as scheduled. Bus time is 3:30 to Frankenmuth.
FHS will be open until 1:00 pm today (Wednesday) if students need to get materials to study for their Thursday exams.

Students and staff had a great end to their week during our annual dodgeball tournament!
In the spirit of giving, the Freeland Little League donated $710 to the Freeland Schools to cover unpaid meal debts for those in need. Thank you Eric Gladwish (pictured with Food Service Director Caila Wellsted) and the Freeland Little League for the generous donation.
This week, FHS would like to recognize one of our teachers, Nickie Clark. Mrs. Clark has taught for 26 years, and loves working with kids and making learning fun. She enjoys working in a community that is dedicated to our students, and feels she has been blessed to work with many great teachers during her career.
Freeland Schools will not be in session December 24 - January 4. School resumes on Monday, January 7 ,2019.
With the resignation of our newly hired coach, Freeland needs an 8th Grade Basketball Coach for the rapidly approaching season. Position will be filled as soon as possible.
