Monday will be a day of Professional Learning for the Freeland teachers. Some staff members at FES wanted to remind our community that there will be no school for students on Monday, Oct. 7th.


Memories like these will be made tonight during Freeland's Homecoming. 5:30 - Parade from FES to FHS. 7:00 - Freeland vs. Birch Run. Don't miss the halftime festivities. Shoud be fun night in Freeland.

Should John Glenn accept the bid to join the TVC, Freeland's division would include: Swan Valley, Alma, Glenn, Garber, Frankenmuth, Bridgeport, & Birch Run.

So, what is that yellow tape for near the south end of the Learning Center? That space will be used to stage roofing materials to replace a section of roof that continually leaks. If weather cooperates, the work will be done next week.

We are very excited about Stop for the Bus event today from 9 am to 10 am!! There will be local safety officials, Sammy the Spirit Eagle, Spark the Orange Frog, and more!


Freeland’s football game at Alma has been postponed until Saturday @ 11:00 a.m. due to weather. Play resumes with Freeland up 26-14.

FHS students Carolina Mondragon (10) and Casey Qeraxhiu (9) were able to participate in the AT&T Innovation & Entrepreneurship Camp this summer. A very cool opportunity for HS students across the region.

Interested in working with our youngest Falcons? The Freeland Learning Center is looking for an additional recess paraprofessional for 1.5 hours each day
(11:10-12:40).

FMS is ready for Clash for the Cure tonight! We were also excited to announce our 19-20 Student Council during our Clash assembly this afternoon.

FHS Sophomore Sophie Argyle recorded the first hole in one in Freeland girl’s golf history. She recorded the hole in one in today’s tournament being held in Frankenmuth at the Fortress. She recorded the ace on hole number 4.

Due to interest, Freeland is adding a 2nd FTC Robotics Team (#6000) for students in grades 6th - 8th. If your student is interested, there will be an informational meeting for students and parents on Thursday (9/19) from 6:30-7:30 at Freeland Elementary.
