FHS Bass Fishing is looking for competitive bass anglers for the 2020 season. If you are interested in joining the Bass Fishing Club, see a few of our requirements below.
1. Must be a student at Freeland Schools and be going into 8th - 12th grade in the summer of 2020.
2. Must have and maintain a 2.5 GPA
3. Must have a boat or access to a boat that meets these requirements: https://goo.gl/RUuaHK
4. Must have a fishing partner that also attends Freeland.
We compete in BASS and FLW tournaments and are looking for team members who are dedicated to competing at the highest level locally and nationally.

Freeland Schools is excited to announce that Izabella Lopez has been hired to fill the role of Learning Center Principal/Director of Elementary Student Support.
Currently serving as an elementary principal, Mrs. Lopez previously spent 10 years as a 1st grade teacher in our district. Mrs. Lopez will start on January 20th. Until that point, Jacque Chislea will serve as Interim Principal at the Learning Center as Mr. Hillborg transitions to FES.

The Freeland Formulators (FES Robotics Team) had a very successful day at the State Championship on Dec. 14th, placing 1st for Robot Design & Points and 2nd for Strategy & Innovation. Congratulations! #freelandfalcons

FES Robotics Team #4883 (RoboForce) competed at the FIRST Lego League Michigan State Championship this past weekend, finishing 16th at the challenge table and winning the Judges Award. Congratulations on a great season! #freelandfalcons

The Fabricators (FTC #5386), an FMS Robotics Team, competed at the Michigan State FIRST Tech Challenge Championship, finishing 7th in the qualification round and 3rd in the playoffs. Congratulations to the team for a spectacular season. #freelandfalcons

FHS Junior and SCC student Layne Hilton represented Freeland well, serving as a Career and Technical Education Ambassador in the field of Engineering with a student from Saginaw High.

Freeland HS Junior Dylan Glinski has been selected to participate in the NAPHL All-Star Game next weekend. Featuring 21 top hockey prospects from across North America in their respective birth-years, this is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations Dylan!

The FNV Griffins Hockey team notched two (2) big wins this weekend. Beating Davison 3-2 in overtime on Friday night and topping South Lyon Unified on Saturday, 5-3.
