2020-21 Athletic Registration Starting in the 2020-21 school year, Freeland athletes will register online at FamilyId.com. This registration process will take the place of the athletic green card that was used in the past. Parents/athletes will log in, create an account and complete the registration process. This includes verification of the athletes sports physical, concussion education page, the athletic handbook, and other key information. This information is contained in the registration process, but for the 2020-21 school year, IF your athlete has a physical on file in the athletic office from the 2019-20 school year, then a complete new physical form MAY NOT be needed. In the registration process, you will answer 14 key medical questions (THE MHSAA HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE). If all of your answers are no, and the 2019-20 physical is on file, then a new full physical is NOT needed. If any of the answers to the health questionnaire questions is yes, then a full physical IS REQUIRED before an athlete can participate in a practice/or tryout. If the athlete does not have a physical on file from 2019-20, they are also required to complete a full physical before a practice/or tryout. If you have any questions concerning this new process for the 2020-21 school year, please contact the athletic office at 989-695-5986, or email at bellj@freelandschools.net or vasoldb@freelandschools.net. Once the registration process is completed, we will be notified. Payment of the athletic registration fee is required before the first practice or tryout date. The registration fee can be mailed to: Freeland High School, Athletics 8250 Webster Rd. Freeland, MI 49623, or dropped off at the high school starting August 3, 2020 We hope that electronic registration make the process easier. We are hoping to have a full school year and a full sports year starting in the fall. As we get closer to the August start dates for fall sports, we will have more information on the status of the upcoming season.
