Thank you to our Band Director Mr. Shaw for getting FMS in the Christmas spirit this morning with some festive holiday tunes. It was great to hear through the hallways to start our day! #GoFalcons

Student Leadership spent the afternoon making tie blankets for Fleece and Thank You. The blankets are given to kids to help make their stays in hospitals more comfortable. Attached to each blankets is a positive video message for the kids. SL also made holiday cards for our veterans at our local VA Hospital. FMS is spreading Christmas Cheer for All to Hear! #GoFalcons

This week we would like to spotlight our FMS 8th Grade Science Teacher, Mary Kay Heckman. Ms. Heckman has spent her entire 31 year career with FCSD and we are so thankful for her dedication to our students! #GoFalcons

Some of our FMS students to a trip over to FES yesterday to mentor in Mrs. Koehler's STEM classes. We love seeing our students building relationships throughout the district! FMS Mentors will be visiting FES once a month for the rest of the school year. #GoFalcons

Today was Family Photo Day at FMS where 3rd Hour classes dressed up like a family for the day. We had some great family themes today! We are looking forward to more fun next week as the competition continues! #GoFalcons

We would like to recognize our FMS December Students of the Month. The staff is choosing 4 8th graders and 4 7th graders each month that display the S.O.A.R. expectations in our building. Each Student of the Month will receive 5 S.O.A.R. tickets for upcoming drawings, 2 Free Saginaw Spirit Tickets courtesy of Century 21 Signature Realty - Andrew Hauck , and an invite to our end of the year Student of the Month Dinner in May. We had a great time at the FMS Feliz Navidad Dodgeball Tournament this afternoon. Thank you to our Student Leadership class for a fun event and congrats to the champions, Sigma! #GoFalcons

All this week FMS has been gearing up for the holiday season with fun dress up days. More fun to come the rest of this week and our short three day week next week and we look for our students to kick it up a notch before our last day on Wednesday. #GoFalcons

Today's FMS Trivia Champions were Disney experts! Many teams excelled in this category but this is the group that rose to the top and earned their shout out on social media for their efforts! #GoFalcons

The FMS Band did a great job of getting us in the holiday mood tonight. The 7th & 8th grade bands performed separately, then came together for 'Swingle Bells' which is a FMS Band tradition. Thank you to Director Steven Shaw and all of our students for a great show! #GoFalcons
