*Students who plan on bringing a guest from another school to the Homecoming Dance must submit a guest form by this Friday, September 28th @ 3:00 PM.  Late forms will not be accepted.  Forms are located here in the office.  

*After school detentions begin this week.  if you were assigned a detention, these must be served within 2 weeks.  Detentions are Tuesday through Thursday after school from 2:40 - 3:15.

*Every two weeks on Wednesdays, the Delta College Admissions representative will be holding office hours at Freeland.  She will assist students with any Delta related questions including: careers, college applications, financial aid, scholarships, and dual enrollment.  Sign up in the Guidance Office for an appointment.

*WeCode at Saginaw Valley State University is a FREE one-day weekend boot camp for beginners who would like to explore basics of coding using Scratch Programming. This camp is open to 5th – 12th graders and is being offered on Saturday, October 6thand Saturday, October 27th (students may only attend ONE session). Additionally, a WeCode for Adults (open to Adults ONLY and one parent per family please) will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018. For more information or to register, please use the links below.

*Albion college and CMU School of Medicine are hosting an informational night on what it takes to get into medical school.  The event will take place on Monday, November 12th at 7:00 PM at the Horizons Conference Center.  Advanced registration is requested by November 10th at www.albion.edu/premed-event    Informational flyers are also available in the Guidance Office.

*Senior Student Council will be making decorations for Homecoming everyday after school, September 24th - 28th.  Please meet in Mrs. Short's room, 901, after school if interested.  

*Stone Crest Assisted Living in Freeland is looking for Volunteers!  Students can volunteer in the evenings or on weekends.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.  Please see Mrs. Essex if you have any questions. 

*We now have Smart Cards for sale in the office.  They offer lots of different savings from Freeland and Tri-City businesses.  The cost is $20.00.
