Freeland High School is proud to announce that Painting with Ink has been recognized as a FIRST CLASS magazine in the 2025 NCTE Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) contest — earning this distinction for the second year in a row!
Ms. Howson recently received the official word from the National Council of Teachers of English, and she is incredibly proud of the students whose creativity, dedication, and voices bring this publication to life. This honor highlights the power of student expression and the importance of preserving and celebrating the humanities.
