Parent-Guardian/Teacher Conferences

We were scheduled to have in person conferences next week for our families, however, due to the current status of COVID-19 and some of the restrictions with our schools, we are NOT going to be holding in-person conferences at this time. Our staff are going to be communicating their virtual conference plan to parents sometime during the week of January 25th-29th. Virtual conferences will take place the first two weeks in February sometime after the school day. Teachers are working together to make a plan that will allow parents to do either a planned conference or a "drop-in" style conferences utilizing Zoom. Teachers will set up all of the Zoom sessions, and parents will be emailed details about when teachers are available for these conferences. Thank you for the flexibility with this as we work to rethink how we run our conferences to ensure the health and safety of our community during this time.

Free/Reduced Lunch Applications
If you are a family who has received Free/Reduced lunch through the schools in the past, please still complete your application for the 20-21 school year. Even though we do have free lunch and breakfast this year, we still need to have accurate and up-to-date information in regards to who qualifies for free/reduced lunch. More information in regards to our application can be found at this link.

Dual Enrollment - 8th grade info only!
If you are the parent/guardian of an 8th grade student and attended the Delta College Dual Enrollment Webinar on January 20 and would like more information about the dual enrollment process in Freeland Schools, the high school will address this topic during its Freshmen Information Night. Mrs. Essex, High School Guidance Counselor, will begin scheduling with all 8th graders at the end of February and the Freshmen Information Night (virtually) is tentatively scheduled for the week of March 1.
