This week the Freeland Special Services Department is highlighting Mrs. Suzanne Ferguson.  Mrs. Ferguson has been teaching for 32 years and has worked in Freeland for 27 of those years.  She teaches at both the Learning Center and the Elementary School.  She has endorsements in Cognitive Impairments, Learning Disabilities, and Early Childhood Education.  She also has a special interest in Autism.  Mrs. Ferguson has been START trained and has served as a START Coach for six years.  She has assisted in starting the PALSS program and has served on the START/PALSS teams since they were started.  She enjoys working with kids and helping them achieve their goals.  Mrs. Ferguson believes that Freeland is a wonderful community to work in.  The community is very supportive of the students and the staff.  Together we make a difference.

Thank you Mrs. Ferguson for all you do for students in the Freeland Community School District.  You make a difference!
