The Special Services Department would like to introduce you to this week's Staff Highlight, Stacey Woock. Stacey Woock is Freeland's Early Childhood Special Education teacher. Ms. Woock has taught in Freeland for 17 years. For her, the most rewarding part of her job is being able to sit down with parents at an IEPT meeting and talk to them about the progress their young child has made. The thing that she enjoys most about working for the Freeland Community school District is the time she spends with her students when progress reports are finished and IEPs have been written. It is then that she can just get down on the floor, interact, and play with her students. Ms. Woock is always thrilled by the amount of growth she sees at this time of the year.
