Mrs. Cripe and Family

This week, Freeland Elementary School is highlighting third grade teacher Mrs. Tricia Cripe.  Mrs. Cripe is in her 23rd year of teaching in the Freeland Community School District.  One word that can best describe her is humble.  Mrs. Cripe is a very selfless person who is always willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that her students thrive under her teaching, much of which can be attributed to the learning environment and the culture that she creates in her classroom.  One of the things that makes her such an asset is her leadership and contributions to Freeland Elementary School.  Mrs. Cripe is an active member with the PALSS Team, as well as the Building Leadership Team and Science Leadership Team.

When asked what she finds most rewarding about her position, Mrs. Cripe said, “I love knowing that I make a difference in the lives of my kids each day.  I love watching my kids and their confidence grow throughout the year.”  She also shared that what she enjoys most about working in the Freeland Community School District is, “Our kids come from great families that are so supportive of their education and their school community.  I also work with the best teachers and staff anywhere!”  Thank you Mrs. Cripe for all you do for Freeland Elementary School and the Freeland Community School District!
