Road Work

The Freeland Road repair project, between River Road and the bridge over the Tittabawassee River, will begin on Tuesday, September 14.  Beginning that day, at 9:00 a.m., and during much of the construction, there will be no westbound traffic over the bridge at any time and eastbound traffic will be limited from the end of the construction day until just prior to 9:00 a.m.  This will cause significant problems for our bus routes.  Specifically, parents of K-5 students living on the west side of the river should expect afternoon drop off times to be significantly lengthened due to this work.

We do not expect significant disruption to our a.m. routes.

A few 6-12 students who live on the east side of the river, but ride a bus that travels to the west side of the river, will experience a significantly longer bus ride.  These riders have been informed of this by their bus driver.

K-5 students who live on the west side of the river will have longer bus rides, arrive at a different time than normal, and may be picked up from school slightly after the end of the school day.

Thank you for your patience during this time.
