Road Construction

The Freeland Road repair project, between River Road and the bridge over the Tittabawassee River, originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 7, has been pushed back to Tuesday, September 14.  Beginning that day, at 9:00 a.m., and during much of the construction, there will be no westbound traffic over the bridge at any time and eastbound traffic will be limited from the end of the construction day until just prior to 9:00 a.m.  This will cause significant problems for our bus routes.  Specifically, parents of K-5 students living on the west side of the river should expect afternoon drop off times to be lengthened due to this work.

Again, we have been told that this project has been delayed one (1) week and will not begin until Tuesday, September 14.  Please look for more communication about this next week.
