Mrs. Albrecht and Family

This week, Freeland Elementary School is highlighting sixth grade reading teacher and student council advisor, Mrs. Alisha Albrecht.  Mrs. Albrecht has been teaching in Freeland for thirteen years.  Prior to coming to Freeland Community Schools, she taught for five years in Bay City.  Mrs. Albrecht is an extremely positive person with a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh.  One of the things that makes her such an asset is her genuine enthusiasm for teaching and her commitment to helping students grow as readers.

When asked what she finds most rewarding about her position, Mrs. Albrecht said, “The thing that I find most rewarding is watching the students grow.  I love when they find a book that they can’t put down or share something new that they have discovered.”  She also shared that what she enjoys most about working in the Freeland Community School District is definitely the students, but also the fact that she works with an awesome group of teachers and administrators.  Thank you Mrs. Albrecht for all you do for Freeland Elementary and the Freeland Community School District!
