Freeland Schools are highlighting Bus Driver Tina Schnople this week. Tina has been a driver in Freeland for the past 24 years.
WhatTina finds most rewarding about her position is that parents put their trust in her to transport their children safely and the relationships she has formed with her students. " I love to hear everyday stories from previous students, hugs, and updates on how they are doing. I also find it very rewarding when parents express their gratitude."
Tina enjoys working in the Freeland Community. Her family moved to her husband's home town of Freeland 26 years ago. "Our children were young and family has always been our number one priority." Accepting the Bus Driver position 24 years ago worked very well with their schedules. Their daughter Amber and son Josh both graduated from FHS after receiving a great education with great experiences in sports. "Freeland has grown at a fast rate but has stayed a close knit community. The school system keeps its high expectations of students and employees. We have many wonderful bus drivers, coaches, volunteers, teachers, administrators and businesses in our community that are very supportive of our Freeland Students."
